Dr. Julia Kasper
Hi, I’m Dr. Julia Kasper. I’m the Senior Associate Dentist at Wynkoop Dentistry, and I’ve been practicing for almost 20 years. What I love most about dentistry is that it truly allows for lifelong learning, not only in diagnosis and technique, but in the study of people and relationships. My path to dentistry has included a lot of roles: I’ve been a student, an associate, a practice owner, a mentee, and a mentor. What I love most about dentistry is that it truly allows for lifelong learning, not only in diagnosis and technique, but in understanding people. Excellent dentistry absolutely requires careful diagnosis and high-quality clinical work, but it also requires compassion and emotional intelligence: knowing how to help someone feel understood and cared for. To me, the true art of dentistry isn’t only recreating a beautiful smile — it’s fostering a patient relationship rooted in trust and goodwill.
I’m originally from Wisconsin, but I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. I earned my BS in Dietetics (cum laude) from the University of Florida, and my DDS from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating in 2008. Before dental school, I spent several months living and traveling in Australia, and it’s still one of my favorite life chapters, it shaped my love of adventure, perspective, and connection.
Clinically, I enjoy helping patients across the full spectrum, from a few simple restorations to maintain oral health to extensive dental reconstruction that can truly change how someone feels day to day. If you feel nervous about the dentist, you’re not alone. I also offer oral sedation to make care more comfortable.
I’m committed to continuing education and have advanced training with the Spear Institute, Invisalign, TMJ/occlusion, minimal oral sedation, diode laser, and Botox, as well as implant and aesthetic coursework. I’ve been honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine “Top Dentist” (peer-nominated) since 2019, and I’m a Fellow of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry. I stay involved in the profession through the ADA, CDA, Metro Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Prosthodontic Society, and local study clubs.
Outside the office, I love to read, travel, cook, and hike, and I’m happiest in the mountains. My husband and I have been married since 2007, and we live in Evergreen with our two boys and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We’ve called Colorado home since 2008.
