Hi everyone! I’m Dr. Janelle Sterling. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for dentistry — becoming “Dr. Janelle” was in the works since I was five years old! I actually loved going to my six-month checkups and always imagined myself running the show one day.

I got my real start in dentistry right here at Wynkoop Dentistry, working on the business team before heading to dental school. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I also completed a General Practice Residency at Denver Health, where I gained advanced experience in comprehensive care, oral surgery, endodontics, emergency medicine, and anesthesia. After my first Colorado summer, I knew Denver was the place I wanted to call home. Before that, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin (hook em!) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business.

In my free time, you’ll find me exploring new restaurants with my fiancé, playing tennis with friends, traveling with my family, or skiing on a powder day.

My favorite thing about dentistry is how artistry, medicine, service, and engineering all come together. At Wynkoop Dentistry, we’re always looking ahead.
